CALLING FOR VENDORS - World March For Peace & Non-Violence KL

Greetings from SPCA Selangor!

We would like to invite you to set up a booth at the World March For Peace & Non-Violence KL, on the 10th of October 2009 from 6pm - 10pm at Jalan Bangkung, Bangsar.

The booth rental is only RM50, including the use of two mahjong tables, two chairs and a tent. Terms and conditions are listed in the form attached below.

To confirm your booking, please complete the form attached and e-mail it back to me by the 2nd of October, 2009.

Event Background
The World March for Peace And Non Violence is the Malaysian leg of the first-ever World March that will travel the world starting from 2nd October 2009 - the anniversary of Gandhi’s birth - in New Zealand to 2nd January 2010 in Argentina, asking for the end of wars, the dismantling of nuclear weapons and for an end to all forms of violence - physical, economic, racial, religious, cultural, sexual and psychological.

This will be a symbolic March to unite people of all sectors of the population, who aspire for peace and a better World. The event aims to create consciousness and public awareness for the urgent need for Peace, and to create a "culture of non-violence" in order to establish and sustain real peace.
5 Non-Government Organizations - NurSalam, The Women's Aid Organization, Voice of the Children, SPCA Selangor and World Without Wars - and the restaurant group Maxim Image are getting together for this cause and have given birth to a cultural street festival to celebrate the arrival of the World March in KL, Malaysia on the 10th of October 2009, from 6pm onwards at Jalan Bangkung, Bangsar, KL.

Peace Dance at Leonardo's Wine Loft - Retro dance party. Come dressed in the 60s and 70s style!
