Holidaying with your pet

You wanna go for a long break during the holidays but cant bear to lock up your pet at the vet?  Bring them along to Ruby's Resort, Cherating.  My fren has been there and brought her dogs along too.  I think the dogs will love the sea.

From KL, 4hrs of slow drive along the hilly middle range of peninsula, will take you to a beautiful resort by the sea.
Individual chalets (fenced to keep some excited furkids bolting off), you'll be at ease to know your furkids are doing fine with you.

Important: Bring your own bed sheet, pillow cover, blankets, and other essentials (meaning doggie soap, feeds, toys, dishes) as these are not supplied by management.

A lovely place for a getaway from the city! The rooms are basic, not new but everything is clean and works. There are huge hammocks, lots of seating and tables and every room apart from the dorm has an enclosed balcony (where you can leave your dogs). There are dogs and cats everywhere. The beach is so beautiful!! And so quiet even though the hotels in the area were all fully booked. The food is lovely - food is available all day every day except Mon-Weds. More restaurants and bars are available within 5 mins drive. Beautiful place, come here with or without your dogs :)

Been here twice and wish I was able to come more. The beach is so easy to get too. The rooms are comfortable. And Ruby is such a wonderful person that she makes you feel like you are at home. If you want a relaxing time that is close to KL, this is the place to be. Plus if you have a pet, they will love this place.

Note : My only worry is that the pets, in unfamiliar grounds may get spooked and run away.  So, please keep your dogs / cats / pets on lease or at least put your telephone number on their collar tag.

But according to a guest review, Aunty Ruby has considered that and has fencing in her resort compound.
